Two more things came to mind.

2. I rode up a hill behind a guy with legs like that on aidsride. Native American, probably not the same guy. Legs looked like copper cables.
Said I rode like a warrior. Best bike compliment of my life.

kju is correct… it is Cyril Dessel in the ‘06 TDF… has the TDF number plate, and frame badge, as well the individual is wearing # 35 for AG2R… better view here:
