It is nice to see Vanderkitten in the lead for Team Points. Business is business, but it makes me sad for Peanut that Vanderkitten has decided to not sponsor the cyclocross this year. At least I know Peanut is with out a sponsor. She has a really good attitude and that is what makes her such a great athlete. She has a big fan base and I wish things were different for her. Besides being an incredible bicyclist, she is also one hell of a human being.

Hey Lizzer,
That guy is still kissing that pole and that older gentleman still looks like he can't find his room at the local nursing home.
I hope you are well.

I was sitting right next to Josh. You fell like two feet from where we were sitting. I didn't notice the "Cal education" thing as Josh did, but I DID notice the guy only worrying about his bike and his phone and his own stupid self instead of the fact that he'd walked right into a race (I even blog-posted about it) and I did toss a few verbal attacks at him myself. Anyway, here's hoping karma gets that dumbass and that nothing like that happens anytime soon again to you...

I don't think that there were any riders named Paolo riding into races while talking on their cell phone in Missouri. ;)

You will be in Kansas City on Monday. You will definitely be on my mind as you race in the Criterium. It would be great to jump in the truck and run up and see you race, but I will be working here in Fayetteville. You may find it odd, but I really admire your resolve and dedication. I also think the world of Peanut in Belgium. I am training to ride the tour de cure in North West Arkansas. Around these parts, 100 miles is a long way for this old man. I take to heart and find it true what you said about getting kitted up and out on the bike. Once I am out, I always feel better. What you do matters, so go out there and do what you do best, ride like the wind!

Glad you're okay Lizzer. Ya know, "Paolo" (dream away dude) sounds a little bitter so he must have been out raced by a girl going up a hill, and/or sprinting ... Bottom line, the pain is the same. Kick butt in Missouri -- dig in a little deeper kitten, your win is in there -- promise.

Hope you made a little hamburger out of the guy at least. Sounds like you were having a good day,, Bummer. No serious injuries I hope. "Vanderkitten's Liz Hatch took her turns at the front, until she went down in an unfortunate crash with a spectator." - Cycle To
